Viewing Album:  A busy summer on Deutsche Bahn’s Fulda Valley line

Album Info:Germany’s Deutsche Bahn (DB) has shut down the main north south high speed main line between the central German cities of Fulda and Kassel for track and right of way rehabilitation. While that track rehab project is going on, all train traffic is re-routed this summer to the 2-track Fulda Valley line between those two cities. This has resulted in a significant increase in traffic on the Fulda Valley Line. I stood on bahnhof platforms in both Melsungen, and Fulda, Germany and grabbed photos of multiple trains that were passing by on what seemed like 6-minute headings for each track.
