Album Info:WP&YR! The White Pass and Yukon Railroad. Legendary 3-foot gage pike starting at Tidewater in Skagway, Alaska, and climbing over White Pass (3000 feet) into Yukon Drainage. This is the route the 1899 Klondike Gold Rush Stampeders took to get to the gold fields near Dawson City, Yukon Territory. It's been on my bucket list for most of my adult life, and I finally got to experience it as part of a cruise ship / interior bus tour. A great experience. !
