Description:  VTR locomotive set had been sent down to pick up 47 salt loads from Pan Am at Hoosick Junction. The locomotives first rolled to the end of the passing siding in Eagle Bridge. This was a qualification run for VTR personnel. Hoosick Junction and Eagle Bridge are the likely new interchaoge points for exchanges between Pan Am and VTR

Bartonsville Covered Bridge
Title:  Bartonsville Covered Bridge
Description:  The original Bartonsville Covered bridge was wiped out by flooding from Hurricane Irene in 2011. The townsfolk of Bartonsville wisely decided to replace it with a replica covered bridge instead of a more modern girder structure. I believe the last time I photographed at this location was back in the 1980's when Steamtown was still running out of Bellows Falls, VT. This is also the last shot in my Saturday chase. I headed back south to PA after this shot due to urgent social responsibilities (i.e. kissing my wife at midnight on New Year's eve.)
