| I reached my intended photo location on the knoll overlooking the Jacobs Ladder trestle as the steam train started up the mountain from the base station. In this shot you can see the steam train getting closer, the Waumbek water tank, and two diesel powered trains down at the base station in the upper left corner of the photo. The Red diesel - M3 Abenaki is boarding passengers, and the White Diesel (with purple passenger car) has already started up the hill behind the steam train. |
